Shire Healthcare are currently sourcing a Speech and Language Therapist for a specialist school based in Berkshire. The successful Speech and Language Therapist will support children and young people aged 5-16 with complex educational needs, challenging behaviours and communication difficulties.

This is a full-time, permanent position and term-time only.

The role:

- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Completing assessments to gauge individual speech, language and communication needs
- Delivering individualised therapy programmes to children and young people
- Managing and prioritising a clinical caseload
- Providing advice, training and support to the wider clinical and educational staff in relation to speech and language therapy

The ideal Speech and Language Therapist:

- Holds a relevant Degree/Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registered
- Post-graduate experience of supporting children and young people
