Theatre Porter

To undertake a wide range of support service tasks which realise patient expectations. Working as part of the multidisciplinary team the aim of this post is to: 1. Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. 2.

Provide a high quality porter service primarily escorting/chaperoning patients to and from the theatre department 3. Preparation of instruments and consumables required for surgery, once trained. 4. General housekeeping with routine cleaning duties 5.

Transport of pathological specimens, 6. Transfer of items between locations 7. Transport and preparation of medical gas cylinders 8. Assisting in the Recovery Unit, 9.
