- Job DescriptionWorking within Joint Protective Services (Scientific Services Unit), an opportunity has arisen for a Forensic Operational Support Team Officer.

You will support the SSU in achieving its objectives by working in a team of 5 technical administration staff who support investigations by compiling forensic intelligence material, process various biometric samples, facilitate the movement of exhibits from Scenes of Crime offices to the various Forensic Service Providers (FSPs) and internal departments and also process statements and delivery notes which are provided by the FSPs.

In this role you will be supporting Bedfordshire Police and Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Constabularies. You will contribute to achieving the Force vision, purpose and values.

There is no requirement for shift or weekend work attached to this role.
You will be based at Kempston Police HQ, Bedfordshire.
