We currently have an exciting full-time opportunity for a proactive Commercial Plumber with a level II plumbing qualification to join our facilities team in Peterborough covering three secondary schools in the city. This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.

**Key activities**:

- Reporting to the M&E Supervisor
- Complete reactive and planned maintenance activities
- To complete occasional scheduled installation works
- Manage and maintain materials and workload
- Update CAFM system and compliance records as required
- Working 40 hours per week from 08.00 to 17.00, Monday to Friday with participation in a rolling callout rota

**Skills, qualifications and experience**:

- Experience of building services/working in a maintenance environment
- Must hold a recognised mechanical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 2 (theory and practice) in a relevant mechanical discipline with suitable industry experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to work on own initiative as well as within a team with a proactive, flexible, can-do attitude
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- A strong awareness of Health & Safety procedures
