**Westwood Recruitment **are currently on the lookout for a **CNC Setter Operator **for our client based in Musselburgh. This is a permanent position with an immediate start available. Our client are manufacturers of aerospace components. The work is shift pattern work over a 37 hour week with shift allowance.

**The Role & Duties**
- To produce precision components from drawings using CNC machines whilst working to tight tolerances and checking your own work meets the required standard.
- The work will include the following:

- Competently set and operate CNC machines.
- Produce accurate, high quality, components with maximum efficiency.
- Quality check all finished jobs prior to full inspection.
- Clean / maintain CNC machine, all associated equipment and machine area.

**Job Requirements**
- Fully skilled as a CNC setter/operator
- Experience in any of the following
- 3 Axis / 5 axis milling (Hurco conversational control)
- Sliding head lathe CNC Setter/Operator (STAR with FANUC control)
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Capability in using a wide variety of measuring equipment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
