**Opportunity**

We are a growing boutique financial planning firm looking for a paraplanner to join our dynamic team looking after genuinely HNW clients (typically £5m investable assets). We treat all our clients as individuals, working closely with them and developinglong-term relationships based on trust.

Joining our team would be a chance to work on all aspects of financial planning, being part of a cohesive team with an entrepreneurial mindset.

We provide a supportive environment investing in staff training, development and encouragement to chartered financial planner status.

**About the Role**

We offer the opportunity to sit in on client meetings, build cash flow models, undertake technical analysis, write reports, and provide first-class client support. We'll help you develop technical and soft skills to enable your success and achieve your owngoals.

Responsibilities will include:

- Providing detailed, accurate and relevant information to the financial planners concerning specific customer requirements, responsibilities will include:

- Evaluating providers and products
- Researching funds and asset allocation modelling
- Cash flow modelling
- Preparation of suitability reports for discussion with financial planners
- Preparing and maintaining compliant client files
- Liaison with providers, clients and industry professionals
- Preparation of regular client reviews
- Implementing recommendations

**Essential Criteria**
- Commitment to do CII exams to complete the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and beyond

**Desirable Criteria**
- Some experience in wealth management or a financial adviser environment
- Well organised, can prioritise effectively and has attention to detail. Can handle multiple tasks at the same time
- Good understanding of Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Good initiative and can find a way to get the answer if no one is around
- Positive attitude, can-do approach
- Ability to interact with high-net-worth individuals in a confident, professional and natural manner

**Additional Information**

As this is a training role, it is intrinsically office-based., although we offer work from home on Fridays.

The nature of the role, training and colleague liaison requires easy access to the office.

**Salary & Benefits**
- Basic salary: c.£30,000
- Holiday: 25 days
- Pension

- Tailored training programme through to chartered financial planner status,
- Exam costs for the first sitting of each exam
