Purpose of this role:

- To provide a specialist service in the provision of efficient and effective vehicle part provision.
- To provide a specialist service in controlling and managing vehicle parts stock.
Key result areas include:

- Maintain a vehicle parts stock control system for service and repair of all types of vehicles and plant.
- Undertake stock checks and complete all related documentation.
- Issue vehicle parts, consumables and equipment to workshop staff as required.
- Procure vehicle parts, workshop consumable items and equipment as directed and check on receipt to identify any discrepancies.
- Maintain procurement and stock records using ICT software.
- Maintain a clean, safe and tidy parts store area at all times.
- Deliver parts to/from other locations when directed.
- Provide advice and support to other colleagues on goods and services provisioning when required.
- Take responsibility and action for identifying areas of improvement in the parts store area with guidance.
- Undertake appropriate training to develop expertise within the area of work concerned.
- Plan and organise short-term activities to ensure completion of work to the required standards.
- Ability to work as part of a team contributing to an effective service delivery.
- Relevant vocational or industry competency qualification or significant experience within area of work

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: £10.21-£12.71 per hour
