Credit Controller

Please be aware for this role, you need to have experience as a Credit Controller.
Salary is dependent on experience.
This role is a permanent position based on-site.
The hours are Monday to Thursday between 08:45 to 17:00, and Friday 08:45-16:00
37.75 hours per week.
**Duties include**:
- You will escalate debts to a 3rd party service for litigation when appropriate.
- You will have responsibility for all credit accounts for our business with a turnover of £15m pa ranging from sole traders to national key accounts, with a view to maximising cash flow whilst maintaining an excellent relationship with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Prompt management and resolution of invoice queries internally and externally and various forms of customer payments this will include managing approved payment plans through to completion.
- Recording all actions and conversations in the debtors log and taking payments over the telephone
- Maintenance of files for each customer including reconciliations and allocations of payment
- Ad hoc admin duties to assist the team such as taking cheques to the bank.
- Following procedures or implementing improvements
**Skills & Requirements**:
- Ideally a minimum of 1 year credit control experience
- Passionate about credit control and a desire to continually maintain a clean and current ledger.
- Competent working with Microsoft Office Suite
- Capable of building relationships at all levels
- You will need to be a self-starting people focused individual.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills will be required.
