**Job Description**:
Key Accountabilities (5-8 statements of the ‘deliverables’ required in the role. Each statement relates to a separate outcome (as assessed in ‘Measures’).

Measures (the KPI’s to measure the effectiveness of delivery against each ‘key accountability’. These should also be used to set objectives / goals).
- Effectively manage your own workload, including queries or escalations to you by other team members, colleagues across the group or external clients/advisers in accordance with target service levels and agreed timescales and in line with all relevant regulatory requirements.
- All required administration processes and daily casework to be completed accurately and in a timely manner and in line with all relevant internal SLAs and regulatory requirements.
- Team SLAs and turnaround times are within the required thresholds.
- Ownership of the regular daily tasks, including regular report analysis.
- Be responsible for improving ways of working, driving efficiencies in processes, whilst ensuring you meet the required quality standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of processes and regulatory requirements.
- Improvements suggested to working practices and or solutions to issues raised.
- Ensuring procedures are in place for standard work processes that comply with regulatory rules/requirements and that these are regularly updated with any process improvements/changes.
- Be supportive of your colleagues to ensure successful implementation of new practices.
- Be a part of creating a team that stands out from the rest, by taking pride in the work you are undertaking and the company you work for.
- Build effective and collaborative relationships across the team, department and organisation.
- Work across the business to promote yours and your team’s brand. Creating positive and collaborative relationships to achieve.
- Seek new ways of working from others and gather knowledge to share across the team and department.
- Acquire, expand and retain sound product knowledge of relevant company products and awareness of their attributes and rules.
- Required level of knowledge/awareness around a number of key technical areas demonstrated (i.e. CASS requirements, COBs, DISP, DFM, EO, Managed Advisory, personal pensions, S226, FSAVC, Transfers in, SERPS/S2P, payment of annuities, taxation of life assurance policies, life assurance premium relief, premium relief at source and life qualifying rules, BACS guide and rules to the direct debiting scheme and best practice programme in handling of daily tasks) with good awareness of current legislation & regulatory changes.
- Be responsible for following the company’s Risk and Compliance policies and procedures.
- Understand the risk associated with any processes you touch, identifying risks and escalating using our risk tools.
- Wherever possible, find solutions that prevent the risk from becoming repeat incidences through process improvement.
- Understand the company’s Risk framework and how risk impacts your role.
- Any data handled is protected and valued in line with Data Protection rules and regulations. Be responsible for the security of this information by adhering to company policies such as a clear desk.
