Reporting to the PFA Lead Officer, you will be responsible for the line-management of the PFA SEN Officers, ensuring that all statutory deadlines are met. You will also take a lead responsibility for advising parents, schools, colleges and providers, to ensure they understand the SEND Legislation, and are able to meet to resolve any issues that arise.
To guarantee that all processes are compliant with the Children & Families Act 2014, you will need to ensure that;
- a transition process for children coming out of formal schooling and moving in to post 16 provision is in place and monitored;
- all placements carry out annual reviews;
- EHC plans are amended in a timely way following receipt of the paperwork.
Your role will also involve the preparation of cases for Tribunal and, in some cases, representing the Local Authority in defending a Tribunal appeal.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: £150.00-£200.00 per day
