We are Millers, based at Mill Lane, Beverley, providing three different services on its site which include Millers Day Centre, New House Residential Service and Town View, Respite Service. Here we ensure that adults with learning disabilities and older people who present with a range of complex needs are provided care and support, along with their families, carers, and friends.

To support us to achieve this we are seeking a much-valued Cook to join our catering team. As a committed and reliable Cook, you will prepare and cook nutritionally balanced meals for our service users, whilst having the opportunity and responsibility to prepare quality meals. You will also be responsible for:

- Health and Safety
- Food Hygiene procedures, in accordance with food safety regulation.
- Monitoring risk
- Ensuring the kitchen is maintained to a high standard
- Ordering goods within a specified budget
- Keeping accurate records of stock control
- Co-ordinate the preparation, service of food, (including a range of special dietary requirements)
- Supervise the kitchen team

Ideally you will be a team player and able to demonstrate a catering qualification, such as NVQ level 2 or 3 and a minimum of Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate.
