We are recruiting for a Quality Assurance Engineer for a global technology company in Weymouth.

The Main Aim of the Role:
In this role, you will assist the UK Quality Management team with the daily running of ISO9001 Quality Management System and all its supporting processes.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct internal audits against ISO standards 9001/14001/45001 and internal processes to support our ISO accreditations and continuous improvement activities.
- Report on audit activities and close out audit non-conformances and improvement actions.
- Contribute towards ensuring compliance to both internal and external requirements in relation to product safety.
- Support our customers alongside our Engineering and Services teams to understand, investigate and resolve customer issues to ensure our product quality meets our customers' expectations.
- Support the development of new products by playing a key role within the development project teams.
- Ensuring the projects requirements, quality measures and milestones are met, delivering products which will enhance the product portfolio.
- Facilitate the return of parts from the field by working with our Service teams.
- Ensuring all events are investigated, resolved in a timely manner and with preventative actions in place, to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to the monthly Quality data pack and present data and information as and when required by the business, ensuring key performance indicators are reported on and given focus.
- Promote and educate Company personnel in relation to the Quality culture, systems, and requirements.

**You Will**:

- Have GCSE (A-C grade) or equivalent in both English Language and Maths.
- Be qualified to HNC level (level 4) in either an Engineering or Quality Assurance discipline.
- Previously have held a role in either Manufacturing or Quality.
- Have a good working knowledge of the ISO9001:2015 standard.
- Be an accredited internal auditor with a proven track record of successfully leading, planning, and conducting internal audits.
- Be able to read, understand and interpret Engineering Drawings, tolerancing & specifications, inspect / measure against them and present summaries of reports ideas, improvements, & basic action plans.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organisation.
- Be a CQI qualified Lead Auditor (Desirable)
- Be an Accredited Six Sigma Yellow/Green/Black belt practitioner (Desirable)
- Have a working knowledge of ISO14001 and / or ISO45001 (Desirable)
- Demonstrate a track record of self-directed self-development (Desirable)
- Show a willingness to travel in line with business requirements (Desirable)
