Brokerage Clerks

Our client offers supply chain solutions and they are currently looking for a Customs Brokerage Clerks to join their growing team in Coventry on a Temp to Perm basis.
This position will partly be based in the office but you will also be working from home as well. You will be there to provide Brokerage services for a large key account by processing daily shipment information using an internal system and ensuring customs compliancein a timely and accurate manner.
This is a 12 week temp to perm position Monday to Friday (may include some weekend coverage with notice).The successful Customs Brokerage Clerk will receive a salary of £21,500 after initial period.
Our client are happy to provide full training so no previous Customs experience is necessary however you will need to come from a freight forwarding or Logistics or Transport background.
**Customs Brokerage Clerk duties include**:

- Data Manipulation
- Customs brokerage
- Updating required milestones within internal system
- Admin duties

**Other requirements for the Customs Brokerage Clerk role**:

- Obtained at least GSCE qualifications including Maths & English
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word & Excel
- Good team player and the ability to work on own initiative and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
- Good telephone manner
- Flexible friendly and enthusiastic attitude required
- Customer service orientated
- Able to work on their own initiative and would require minimum supervision
