We are currently recruiting for a friendly, dedicated Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming school in Barrow-In-Furness. The school is looking for a proactive and confident Teaching assistant that can contribute to the learning of children across classes.

**The role**:

- Primary Teaching Assistant role in Barrow-In-Furness
- Full-time, Term-Time position, Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 3:30pm
- Immediate start available | £10.30 - £12 per hour
- Primary Teaching Assistant based in KS2

**Job specification**:

- Minimum of a Level 2 qualification within childcare
- Strong A-Level and GCSE grades
- Experience of working with children in a school setting
- speech and language needs and SEMH needs
- Training related to SEND e.g. Autism Awareness; Zones of Regulation; Team Teach (safe handling)
- Experience of working 1:1 or with small groups
- Experience of/training in phonics & early reading
- Interest in Autism, Speech and Language
