Phlebotomist

Phlebotomist Grade: Band 3 Hours: Full time (37.5)
Applications are invited from enthusiastic experienced Phlebotomists or unqualified persons willing to undertake training to become a Phlebotomist.

You will join our forward thinking friendly pro active team providing a high quality, compassionate service to our patients.

We are looking for a self
- motivated hardworking team player with good manual dexterity, excellent communication skills and flexibility to support our services within Dorset County Hospital Foundation Trust.

These hours are based in Dorchester although following completion of training all staff are required to work in community based Outpatient clinics, Emergency Department & Paediatric Phlebotomy clinics.The service is a seven day a week service and operates 365 days per year. All staff are rostered for weekends and bank holidays.

Competency in Venepuncture and Cannulation Skills would be an advantage, however full training and support is provided.
