Core workshop hours are 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, and voluntary overtime is available outside of these hours.

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Woodworker to join our team. As a Woodworker, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling hardwood furniture frames and components of interiors pieces. The role requires everyday dilligence and attention to detail. You will also need lateral thought and problem-solving abilities as we often take on bespoke work and prototype new designs.

**Duties**:

- Selection of appropriate timber for projects
- Measure, cut, and shape wood materials according to specifications
- Assemble wooden components using hand tools, power tools, and industrial machinery
- Sand, stain, and finish wood surfaces to achieve desired appearance
- Install hardware
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production processes
- Work alongside and guide existing apprentice
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Maintain tools and equipment to high standard

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Woodworker
- Proficient in using tools and equipment, including table saws, bandsaws, spindle moulder, routers, etc.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform infrequent heavy lifting
- CAD/CNC knowledge preferred but not essential
