If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you at **The Supply Room** as a Learning Support Assistant for a **SEN** **Secondary School in BS11.**

At The Supply Room, we believe in the power of education and the impact it can have on the lives of students. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with SEN in their learning journey. Your dedication and expertise will help create an inclusive and supportive environment that enables every student to thrive.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide in-class support to students with SEN, including assisting with classwork and individual learning plans
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement strategies for students' individual needs
- Promote inclusivity and provide assistance to ensure every student has equal access to learning opportunities
- Support students with additional needs during exams and assessments
- Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents/guardians as necessary

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with secondary aged children, preferably in an SEN setting
- A strong background in special educational needs, including an understanding of various learning difficulties and strategies to support them
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/guardians
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping young people overcome their learning challenges
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced school environment
