Fitch Solutions is looking for an Associate Product Owner to lead the squad dedicated to supporting the growth of our Country Risk and Industry Research (CR&IR) business.

In this role you will partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand their data and capability needs, and be responsible for translating these into requirements. Working in an agile framework, you will then work with our Design, Quality and Software Engineering leads to identify how to implement these requirements to offer incremental value to our clients across the Fitch Connect platform.

You will collaborate with the Product Owner to define and execute on the roadmap and vision set out by them and the wider Fitch Solutions Product tribe. Pursuing product and service excellence is critical, so you will be the voice of the client within the squad and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a great customer experience.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Participate in all Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives and daily scrum meetings
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the product backlog, feature prioritisation and product roadmap
- Work with stakeholders and the Product Owner to write User Stories with clear Acceptance Criteria and ensure that the stories meet the squad’s Definition of Ready
- Work closely with squad to define and align sprint goals and provide timely feedback to their questions to ensure that goals are met
- Collaborate with other Product Owners to help identify and manage any cross squad/tribe dependencies
- Engage with relevant stakeholders and the squad to validate the product, and conduct user acceptance testing to ensure that the story meets the Definition of Done
- Measure product performance by creating dashboards that tracks the product usage and other KPIs and sharing the metrics with key stakeholders as needed
- Work closely with Product Owner, Product Strategists, Marketing, Service & Sales teams to support product launch
- Engage with customers and/or customer-facing stakeholders to gain a clear view on customer needs and the competitive landscape

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Product development experience, preferably in the financial services industry
- Solid background and understanding of content (preferably numerical data and written research)
- Experience working with Agile development teams, utilising tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Excellent analytical, organisational, verbal and written skills
- Fast learner, detail oriented, must enjoy fast-paced work environments
