BDS are currently recruiting for a friendly and cheerful caretaker/groundsperson for a sheltered housing retirement service based in Claygate,

To be the first point of call for residents and visitors to the service.
Making contact with the residents daily and checking their welfare, having a chat and
Reporting any faults or repairs
Signposting information of local services
Arranging a nice coffee and cake morning, game of cards and scrabble.
Grounds maintenance, grass cutting, bush trimming, pruning, bits of DIY in and around the service.
Cleaning of communal areas and the Swimming Pool.
Monitoring the chemical levels of the swimming pool (Training will be provided) minor swimming pool maintenance of pumps etc.
To build familiarity with the residents

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am
- 1pm

Hours; 20 hours per week,

This is a permanent position, £14.00 per hour PAYE

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £14.00 per hour
