Based at Gatwick Airport
We are looking for 4 X-Ray Cargo Screeners to join the cargo team based in Gatwick
Responsibilities Include:

- X-Ray screening parcels ready for export.
- Conducting screening and security checks for prohibited items on cargo to be transported
- Recording and escalating any issues or concerns
- Pallet screening
- Maintain focus and awareness within a busy environment is key
- Tolerate moderate to loud level of noise in work environment
- Previous experience in a time-sensitive environment is desirable
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise and a proactive approach
- Must be physically fit due to Manual Handling
- English proficiency (e.g., reading, writing, speaking, listening)
- Excellent visual observation and identification ability
- Interpersonal skills - Must be able to communicate efficiently
- Knowledge of airline codes, prefixes, common cargo abbreviations
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisor or lead screener
- Ability to work as an effective team member
- Competent literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Flexible attitude to working hours, work activities
- Assisting in general warehouse duties if required
- 5 year background check
- Clear Criminal Record Check (CRC)
- Cargo Operative Screening - COS
shift patterns to cover shifts from:

- 4 on 4 off
- 2 days - 0700 -1900; 2 nights 1900-0700

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
