Hotel Receptionist

We are currently looking for a Receptionist to join our team at Vive Hotel, in Hastings. Please note Hotel experience is **essential **for this role.

**Shift work is involved and does include: Weekends, Bank holidays, Christmas and New Year.**

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Welcoming guests
- Check in and Check out
- Handle all enquiries and bookings at the desk or over the telephone
- Input reservations on to the hotel computer system (Elina)
- You are responsible for all payments taken on shift, ensuring all floats balance at the end of your shift
- Ensure all company invoices are correctly dealt with
- To be fully aware of and adhere to health & safety and fire procedures
- Be professional at all times, whilst giving the guest a lasting impression of the hotel
- Daily / Weekly / Monthly - Reports
- Create and SOP's
- Train New members of staff

What we are looking for:

- A team player, but also have the confidence to be on a shift by yourself
- Computer skills, knowledge of word and excel documents
- Have a can do attitude
- Excellent time keeping skills and attendance
- Good knowledge of the English language (speaking, writing and reading)

**Hospitality Experience is Required**

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour
