An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Operative to join our Housing Partnerships team in the Midlands.

The purpose of the role is to carry out multi trade works on housing refurbishment, maintenance and/or new build projects in accordance with design and specifications.

**What you’ll do**:

- Installation of new and/or replacement or repair of building components (excluding electrical & mechanical) components in new and/or existing buildings
- Fabric and building repairs to exacting specification, design and legislative requirements
- Liaise with other trades as required to ensure compliant works in a safe and productive manner
- Undertake all multi trade works and other activities where competent as required of them by Seddon management
- Liaise with and inform project manager to ensure the works are in line with the project programme and as per instructions
- Liaise with project manager to ensure of a continuous flow of works in an effective and efficient manner
- Follow direction given and seek out guidance to ensure exacting quality control and legislative standards are met
- Ensure full compliance of installation with quality and fitting instructions
- To positively represent Seddon brand at all times to customers, supply chains, residents
- Collect, load, distribute and control materials, tools and equipment as required to undertake the works or as directed
- To attend and successfully complete additional competence training as required for the role
- Travel to and from various work locations
- Ensure the Health & Safety compliance through safe working practises.

**Have you got what it takes**:

- Detailed knowledge and proven experience of multi trade works in residential buildings
- Detailed knowledge and proven experience of construction safety and safe working practises
- Detailed knowledge and proven experience of general construction and working in occupied buildings
- Capability to take, check and confirm dimensions and suitability of materials prior to installation
- Able to produce compliant and quality work within set deadlines
- Demonstration of training and certification for the trade
- Self-motivates and seeks improvement in self and others to achieve and surpass targets/goals
- Operates within company standards and policies; considers consequences/outcomes when making decisions
- City & Guilds / NVQ level 2 minimum or equivalent.
