Job Title: Part-time Bookkeeper

Location: Sevenoaks, Kent

Hours: 20 hours per week (flexible)

**Salary**: Around £28,000 per annum (pro-rata)

Are you an experienced bookkeeper looking for a part-time opportunity within the thrilling automotive industry? We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join my clients small, yet dynamic team based in Sevenoaks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Process financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Assist in the preparation of VAT and tax returns
- Collaborate with the external accountants during audits
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Monitor cash flow and oversee petty cash management
- Provide insightful financial analysis and contribute to ongoing process improvement
- Liaise with various departments to ensure timely and accurate financial information
- Perform general administrative duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheets
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- Experience within the automotive industry is desirable but not essential
