Sales Assistant

**We have a fantastic opportunity for a confident and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our Central Convenience Team at Harcombe Cross, Chudleigh**

Our Sales Assistants play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, ensuring the store is fully stocked and driving sales.

Hours: 40 hours per week

**Your main responsibilities**:

- Acknowledge customers with a smile
- Respond to queues and queries
- Attentive to customer needs
- Always be courteous, cheerful and respectful
- Recommend productions and promotions
- Carry out freshness checks
- Ensure till accuracy
- Perform stock replenishment and merchandising in accordance with company guidelines
- Ownership of personal presentation and punctuality

40 hours per week plus overtime if wanted.

Mainly morning shifts, to include one weekend shift per week, with frequent overtime available.

£6.83-£9.50 per hour dependant on age.

All applicants must be over 18 years old due to age restricted sales.

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
