This an exciting opportunity for a senior accountant to join a growing accounts team.

An individual will play an important role in supporting the delivery of a first-class finance function

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist and guide Management Accountants in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assist with financial accounts and year-endaudits as necessary
- Check and authorise payments for the used car buying team
- Oversee the reconciliation of sales data to the ledger
- Monthly reporting on the profitability of sales generated from our used car buying platform
- Daily cashflow reporting
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- ONS returns
- Oversee the sales invoicing process
- Oversee the payment process and deal with queries from admin/transport departments
- Weekly business reporting on a range of KPI's
- Take ownership of and prepare a weekly financial forecast including a final flash forecast
- Monitor, maintain and provide analysis of stocking loans held with our funding partners
- Assist stakeholders with adhoc analysis as required
- Contribute to the preparation of draft Board pack
- Submission of monthly financial performance stats to PE investors.
- Organise, oversee and ensure completion of periodic stock checks

Key Requirements:

- A qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)with 3 years + post-qual experience or with significant (5 years +) QBE experience
- Exposure to both management and statutory accounting
- Automotive industry experience preferred
- Strong excel / IT skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Pro-active in nature and a self-starter
