An exciting new insurance career opportunity awaits an experienced Claims Assessor just like you Currently, we have an exceptional opening for a Claims Assessor to join a leading specialist provider of income protection insurance for dental professionals. **Key Responsibilities**:
Conduct thorough medical and financial investigations of income protection claims, ensuring ethical and fair treatment of members throughout the claims process. The role requires a comprehensive evaluation of claims, utilising logical reasoning and considering customer expectations to make fair decisions.

You will deliver fair claims decisions for individuals and the collective membership, adhering to guidelines and standards while ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory requirements. Identify emerging claim trends and issues to support management. Effective communication with customers and stakeholders through various channels is a key aspect.

Core Expectations and Qualifications:

- Medical Insurance products/income protection and policy conditions experience, 3+ years (preferred).
- Extensive understanding of different medical claim events.
- 3 A levels, University Degree achieved either in Business or Biosciences.
- In-depth medical knowledge to understand intricacies of different cases.
- Critical Illness, Terminal Illness or Death Claims Medical Assessing skills (preferred).
- Ability to show empathy and sensitivity.
- Exceptional drafting and communication skills.
- Ability to look at a claim holistically - consider each case on its own merits.
- Proficiency in handling difficult calls when researching circumstances that may lead to a claim being refuted
