**Logistics Administrator** Location - Dorking

Hours - 37 Hours per week

Salary - £24,000

**Overall Purpose of the position** To provide support to the Logistics Department in all areas where necessary, including MPS Control and with all Logistics Controllers.

This position would be required to be deployed to any area of the Logistics Department to support either the MPS controller or Logistics Controller when required.

**Qualifications & Experience** Experience in a Logistics environment is desirable, with a background in Production or Inventory Control.

Good organisation skills

**Main Duties** Assist in the administration of the Master Production Schedule.

Assist in the production of capacity/performance measurement documents for local Logistics area.

Actioning of MRP messages including rescheduling requests where relevant

Liaising with other Divisions within company organisation to provide information on lead time for supply of materials produced by Dorking plant.

Assist in the raising of production orders for local logistics area(s) and ensuring that Backflushing/picking of component materials is performed in an accurate and timely manner.

Closing production orders into stock and delivering finished units at PTS stage where necessary.

Assist in the production of production documentation for local logistics area(s) including, ESU Packlists, Red/Blue/Greenbacks, Production Order Packs, where required.

Assist in the production and update scheduling documents for local logistics area(s) including Skid Build List, Control Panel List, Work Centre Work to Lists, etc...

Provide holiday coverage for Logistics Controllers where required.

Work as a team player within the organisation liaising closely with purchasing, inventory, production and engineering.

Previous experience in a production control or inventory environment is desirable.

Contribute to maintaining a high level of housekeeping and attention to health and safety in the workplace.

Willingly carry out any other duties deemed appropriate or reasonable by the company/Department Manager.
