We are looking for a colleague to join us and work at a school in Ripley as the school caretaker. No experience necessary, full training can be provided to the successful applicant.

The role is split shift which means you will work mornings and afternoons with a break between. Shift patterns as follows.

Monday to Friday 06.30 - 08.30 and 15.00 - 18.00

The role will involve some cleaning alongside the regular caretaking duties. Other aspects of the role will include the following.
- Communicate effectively with the school business Manager to ensure projects are completed on time
- Carry out day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs
- Ensure the building and grounds are secure when not in use
- Open the building in the morning and lock it at the end of the day
- Ensure heating, lighting and alarm systems are checked regularly to ensure they are operational
- Take responsibility for ordering equipment relevant to your role an that of the cleaners.

Pay: £9.91 per hour
