**CNC Machinist**

**Salary - £12.50-14.40 p/h DOE**
**37.5 hours per week**
Manpower is recruiting on behalf of one of clients based in Caerphilly. Our client is a key player in the global oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical and power industries. Producing key components for some of the world's largest organisations.
**Duties**
- The machining of valve components in accordance with company standards and customer requirements
- The programs and setting sheets are updated and controlled
- To ensure components are machined in accordance with route cards, engineering drawings and standard work
- Ensure that all work undertaken is done in a safe manner in accordance with Health & Safety procedures
- To carry out the inspection of components prior to delivery to stores
- Responsible for the housekeeping and maintenance of the work and equipment
- Ensure the machinery and equipment are maintained (TPM)

**Person Specification**
- Time served apprenticeship in machining
- Recognised technical qualification in a related discipline (e.g. HND, Apprenticeship trained etc.)
- Experience in a machining role
- Experience in CNC programming/machining
- Ability to understand engineering drawings

**Shift Pattern**
- Monday to Wednesday: 06.00 - 16.00
- Thursday: 06.00 - 15.30
