Workshop Supervisor

A leading manufacturer of rotating equipment and control systems for the oil and gas sector. A position has become available in the Workshop for a Workshop Supervisor to complete the day to day activities, taking ownership of this area to ensure full compliance at all times.

Controlling day-to-day workshop activities (liaising closely with PM’s and CS Coordinator) Controlling Electrical Testing, Repairs, Inspection and Production

Controlling Mechanical Testing, Repairs, Inspection and Production staff control, Issuing and controlling work instructions General mechanical assembly work Control Panel build

Assisting with product development R&D

Procurement where necessary

Liaising with customers and suppliers

Goods In-Out

Stores development & control

Maintain good order in the workshop area

Assist H&S officer with quarterly meetings and necessary improvements

**Person Specification**

Essentials

GCSE (or equivalent) English, Maths & Science grade C or above

Mechanical engineering knowledge

Electrical engineering knowledge

Ability to carry out heavy duty work

Good attention to detail

Good telephone manner

Computer literate

Good organisation and communication skills

**Desirables**

Knowledge of AutoCAD

Driving licence and own vehicle

Previous management experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £38,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
