**About The Role**:
Are you a detail orientated graduate looking for a new role that will challenge you and offer much more variety on your day-to-day tasks? Do you want to be a part of the rapidly growing and developing offshore wind sector? GoBe consultants, part of the APEM Group, are looking for a graduate consultant to join our team, contributing to the delivery of some of the largest and most exciting offshore wind projects in the UK.

We’re looking for a graduate to join our growing Project Delivery team (PDT) that is responsible for the delivery of strategic and project specific advice to developers. You will work alongside the wider PDT on tasks focused on consenting activities, as well as technical and general support to all other employees. As well as this, you will assist project managers with co-ordination and production of screening reports, feasibility studies, scoping reports, EIA and compliance plans.

You will also have the opportunity to be involved in business development and gain exposure to various specialisms within the technical teams, including benthic, physical process, marine mammals, fisheries and more. As you grow into this role, you may then choose to specialise in these areas, or to continue building project delivery skills, working on larger scale EIA/HRA work and taking on additional tasks/responsibilities.

**About you**

You will have:

- A degree in an environmental discipline (ideally in the marine sciences)
- Appreciation of marine renewable energy technologies / coastal development and an understanding of the interaction of such development with the receiving environment
- Attention to detail, and strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong inter-personal skills and an ability to communicate at all levels
- Enthusiasm for marine renewables energy technologies, and be reliable and self-motivated with an inquisitive mind
- An interest in project management and an awareness of the importance of client needs

You will be offered the chance to work on a variety of projects. Many of our employees have worked on projects that have been of personal interest to them and have also taken on work to improve consultancy skills that have aided their career. We match this with a commitment to continuous development and learning. We also offer benefits to look after you, from private medical insurance for all employees, to access to mental health first aiders and comprehensive income protection if you cannot work. We also offer superb flexible working options, balancing work with your life.

**Next steps**

We are focused on creating a diverse and inclusive team. If you can’t tick every box on our job description, then we are still keen to hear from you and are open to supporting your development. That may be working part time or supporting you to gain experience in a specific area - we are a growing company and are able to adapt roles to reflect individual skills.
