**Bookkeeper / Assistant**

**Definition**:
**Bookkeepers are responsible for providing accurate, up-to-date financial information about a business. They're always taking the pulse of a business. Most often, their reports go to business owners and managers to help them make decisions. Some bookkeepers, however, are actually involved in strategy development.**

**Job Purpose**:
The book keeper will support senior management across the businesses including Sales, Marketing, Finance and Production. This is an interesting and Varied role and will require organisational and initiative skills to manage and prioritise your workload.

As the first point of contact to site you will require excellent communication skills and be PC literate.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Meet and greet all visitors, face to face or via telephone
- Generation of reports
- Data Entry and Data base management
- File management / Record Keeping
- Processing Sales orders
- Diary Management
- Coordination / Scheduling of activities in organisation
- Reception Duties
- Answering general queries
- Preparation of Induction / Sales packs
- Generation and Goods receiving of Purchase Orders
- Monitoring Logistics and tracking of Goods
- Keep relevant departments / customers updated with delays
- Booking / Arranging travel
- Filing and Photocopying
- Completing any other ad hoc duties
- Undertake continuous training and development

Helping to fulfil production requirements where necessary.

**Essential Skills**:

- Ability to work autonomy or in a team
- Numerate - working with and manipulating data
- Excellent Excel, Word, Power point Skills
- Accuracy and Attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills - Verbal and Written
- Excellent organisational, multitasking and prioritisation skills
- Display behaviours in line with Company Values such as Positivity, Resilience, Motivation, Optimism

Excellent timekeeping

Ability to take defined notes in meetings where requested

**Desirable Skills**:

- Previous experience within similar role
- Knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes
- Relevant qualification in Business Admin
- Understanding of business systems including Sage and Xero

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Part-time

8:30-5pm Monday to Thursday. 7:30am to 4pm Fridays / Part time can be available.

Overtime can be available

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: £10.00 per hour
