**Job Title**: PA (Personal Assistant / Carer)
**Responsible to**: Directly accountable to and taking direction from the employer and the employer’s representative’s (parents)
**Hours**: 15 - 20 hours per week (flexible)
**Work Pattern**: Hours are negotiable but will include some mornings 7am - 8.30am, some evenings and some Saturdays. Hours are longer when he goes in to respite every 4-6 weeks.

**Job Purpose**
**Duties**:
You will be expected to build a good and close working relationship with the man and also respect his family’s boundaries, enabling him to lead a full and varied life, whilst supporting his needs as an individual.
The man requires assistance with aspects of personal care e.g., washing, dressing, administering medication and emergency medication for seizures (specialist training will be provided for this) and socialising.
The gentleman enjoys bowling, going to the cinema and going for a walk.
To perform such other duties as may reasonably be required.
