This position is Saturday work and all ages from 16 will be considered. Tropical Tanning is a fantastic tanning salon in Tonbridge. We have 4 high-end sun beds installed. Tropical Tanning is supported both financially and logístically by a large support team from our office in Tunbridge Wells.

Tropical Tanning is looking for an enthusiastic, personable, hardworking career-minded individual to fill our part-time Tanning Salon Assistant position. Uniform will be provided.

**Expectations**
- Answer the phone to make bookings, cancellations.
- Greet clients and provided them with information on services and products.
- Prepare clients for their treatments
- customer service.
- Cleaning the salon including cleaning and maintaining hygiene of tanning rooms and beds **Maintaining tidiness of the salon**:

- Replenishment of stock
- Sales of stock and upselling to each client dependent on the service that clients is using.
- Maintaining the diary, handover log and relevant daily paperwork that needs to be completed
- i.e., cleaning logs.
- Ensuring the Safety of Health of yourself and others around you.
- Take part in relevant training and other activities commensurate to the role.
- Be presentable and professional at all times.

**Hours and Working Environment**

Your working location will be at our branch located on Baltic Road, Tonbridge.

This position is for Saturday work.

- Be passionate about the tanning process and promote the importance of safe tanning.

**Potential Salary and Benefits**

Salaries and hourly rates will be reviewed accordingly and will be in line with the National Minimum Wage and National Living Wages (NMW and NLW).

Commission will be paid as a percentage of products sales.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 8.5 per week

**Salary**: £5.28-£9.95 per hour
