Working on the Ministry of Justice & Home Office South Contract, we deliver services to our Client through an Integrator Model, a central Computer Aided Facilities Management system controls and monitors all contractual requirements. We provide Helpdesk Service, Real time Reporting, Building Surveys, Fire Risk Assessments, Compliance Audits and Statutory compliance of all Maintenance of our Client Properties.

**Your Role**

The Building Condition Surveyor will be a predominantly field-based role, surveying client estates whilst managing a program of surveys that capture the condition of the buildings and assets. Reporting into the Senior Technical Lead, the Building Condition Surveyor will be able to successfully carry out condition surveys on mechanical and electrical equipment as well as building fabric in a range of properties. They will be able to capture and maintain accurate records of all site visits including an accurate programme of surveys scheduled and attended on Mobiess software on a mobile device.

**What are we looking for?**

The Building Condition Surveyor would suit an individual with exceptional communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels. They will have knowledge of asset maintenance requirements as well as demonstratable experience of using mobile data capture and reporting tools. They will also have experience of working in commercial or government asset portfolios, including infrastructure.

**Qualifications**

**Essential**:

- A bachelor’s degree in building surveying or approved RICS accredited degree

**Desirable**
- Member of a professional body in a relevant field e.g., MRICS, MCIOB etc.
