Are you a health care assistance with acute hospital experience? Looking to progress further within your career in healthcare? If you are eager to learn and develop new skills in neurology then this role is for you

Bleasdale is a busy proactive 21 bedded ward which comprises of, 18 acute neurology and 3 neurology rehabilitation beds. We admit adults with a diverse range of acute and complex neurology conditions and due to the complexity of this speciality we require health care assistants familiar with working in an acute ward setting.

We are a friendly and supportive team that offers a flexible and comprehensive induction. All staff will have a supernumerary period flexible dependent on previous experience.

You will be expected to complete core specialty training as part of their role and must be committed to completion of this within the required time frames. In return you will be fully supported by colleagues who are committed to teaching and nurturing. We recognise that our staff are our most valuable resource, and we are proud of the excellent levels of service our team provides to our service users and the dedication and professionalism of our staff.

You will be forward thinking, well organised with a positive attitude towards flexibility and change. You will need to be flexible in your working hours to work shifts/unsocial hours including nights as required.

You will be responsible for providing a range of personalised care for patients and a range of clinical duties under the guidance and supervision of the team leader/nurse in charge
