Baby Room Practitioner

NVQ Level 3

Come join our friendly and professional team at Sowerby Bridge Day Nursery as a Nursery Practitioner working on a full time basis you will be required to confidently deliver the EYFS, provide a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment in which children are supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential. To offer full and practical support in the day to day running of the nursery. To be flexible to the needs of the business.

**Key responsibilities of a Baby Room Nursery Nurse**:

- To have experience working with 0 - 2 years
- To produce a fun and educational environment
- Follow the EYFS framework
- Maintaining health and safety
- Ensure the wellbeing of the children is maintained at all times
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our parents
- Key skills/ requirements:

- Minimum Level 3 qualified or equivalent
- Previous nursery experience
- Able to work within a hardworking team
- Excellent communicator

Applicants must have:

- Previous experience of working with children aged 0-2 years
- Good organisational skills, record keeping and planning skills
- Excellent communication skills, with children, colleagues, advisors and parents/carers.
- Warm, patient and caring nature
