RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting management in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bar, restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Monitor reservations and booking enquiries, managing the reservation system, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Addressing customer inquiries and concerns related to bookings.
- Supervise and train staff, servers, and other support staff, to ensure they are knowledgeable and skilled in their roles.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and seating guests, taking orders, and resolving any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and licensing laws, and address any issues as they arise.
- Support marketing and promotional activities, such as special events, social media campaigns, and loyalty programs, to increase customer engagement and drive revenue.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized working environment, including overseeing cleanliness standards, equipment maintenance, and adherence to sanitation protocols..
- Act as a point of contact in the absence of the Manager, resolving issues as necessary.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a busy restaurant setting.
- Excellent administrative skills, including booking management and handling general enquiries.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management, health and safety regulations, and licensing laws.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and high-quality standards.
- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- A positive attitude, a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of professionalism and integrity.
- Must be able to flexibly and reliably commute to Stratford-upon-Avon with own transport

**Salary**: Up to £13 p/h dependent on experience. Great opportunities for progression

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.42-£13.00 per hour
