Your new school are looking for a SENCO that can also take up the role of designated safeguarding lead. it is a mainstream school in which there are children with additional needs. The school children between the ages of 4 - 11 years. This school is lookingfor a SENCO that would joy the challenge of helping make improvements.
**Your new role**
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be suitable for this role you should be an experienced Teacher with QTS have a minimum of 6 months experience of supporting children or young people with SEND in a SENCO capacity. You must have a minimum of 40 days experience of working in schools, centresor provisions that support EBSD/ BESD/ EBD which can be referenced. Applicants with QTS or SENCO qualification will have a significant advantage. You will be passionate about helping young people achieve the best of their potential, be thick skinned and havea good sense of humour. A team teach qualification or training in crisis prevention (PROACT SKIP/ MAPA/ TEACHH) is advantageous but not essential.
