Practice Based Educator

The post holder will be responsible for the planning and implementation of education and training to meet identified needs. Provide support in the design and delivery of competency based clinical skills training for all clinical staff and learners. Provide advice in clinical practice, collaborate and cooperate with other healthcare professionals to ensure up-to-date evidence based practice. Support clinical staff in practice to perform comprehensive assessment of patient nursing needs, plan, implement and evaluate care delivery according to changing healthcare needs and varying levels of complexity.

Work collaboratively and co-operatively with the multidisciplinary team to develop services and quality care delivery. The post holder is responsible for ensuring that all clinical staff are up to date on with mandatory training and personal development reviews The post holder will be required to demonstrate procedures to, and supervise qualified and unqualified staff.
