**The role**

We are seeking a versatile and hands-on Production Assistant with admirable problem-solving skills and a passion for events to help us deliver well-executed brand activations, pop-ups, store events, digital and virtual events.

As well as being extremely practical with a very hands-on experience in events you will have excellent organisational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and contribute well-considered thinking to the full end-to-end event management process.

**Key responsibilities**
- Support the team with pre-production planning and preparation for in-person and online events, internal or external
- Support on-site with installs, live days and de-rigs, often requiring weekend work
- Proactively drive the management of our event storage facility and inventory of items within the facility and at other sites
- Liaise with workshop teams and book contractors regarding any required maintenance or new build items needed for upcoming or potential events
- Create and manage load lists
- Regular prepping of items for dispatch and safe transit along with organisation of items when returned
- Instruct casual warehouse operative/s to palletise, load and unload trucks (Undertaking these responsibilities yourself in the absence of a forklift driver/warehouse support)
- Research and source items/materials from a variety of suppliers, obtaining quotes and negotiating services and costs
- Alongside the event ops manager and creative events designer/producer, develop and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers
- Work with the team to help analyse event requirements and move forward through all phases of the event from brief building to live event and review
- Assist in creating supportive documentation for event operations, health and safety management and event scheduling
- Help refine and maintain production processes to enhance the efficiency and analysis of projects
- Generate toolkits and resources to share with wider global teams, empowering the whole business to use events as an effective marketing and engagement tool
- Track production expenses and work to specified budgets

**Other responsibilities**
- Remain open and flexible to support all other aspects of the team from design, to content management, operations, logistics, delegate management and communications
- Work with wider teams to develop creative ways to engage with in real life (IRL) and virtual audiences in order to achieve business goals
- Help develop and innovate our digital/virtual events offering in order to compete with and go beyond what other brands are doing
- Seek opportunities for developing your skill set as well as opportunities to upskill and develop others
- Essential skills/attributes
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Especially Excel)/Google sheets
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, share and work as part of a team
- Practical can-do attitude
- Used to physical work and able to use a pump truck

**Desirable skills**
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or sketch-up
- Experience working with A/V, lighting and/or sound
- Experience working on custom build projects and a basic understanding of carpentry
- Forklift licence

**The successful applicant must be able to work in Poole at least 3 days a week in order to support the running of the events storage facility. As well as travel nationally, maybe even globally on occasions to support events on-site.**
