Sweeper Technician

**The role**

To Maintain and repair Specialist HGV’s including RCV’s, Gritters, Tippers and Sweepers in accordance with the manufacturer guidelines and supporting Company Policies.

Ensure vehicles are maintained above the minimum standards required by the DVSA between scheduled service/inspection dates to support existing third-party servicing arrangements.

Provide standby and out of hours callout cover when required (van supplied)

Ensure vehicles and plant are maintained in line with the service planner and company policies

Have the opportunity to work on a range of vehicles from light commercial to HGV vehicles

Ensure Health & Safety compliance at all times

**Skills Required**:

- Ability to work unsupervised
- High standard of work
- Work well within a team as well as the ability to use own initiative
- Be flexible around working hours and days
- Complete tasks to specified timescales
- Be organised with day-to-day paperwork (eg job sheets and parts ordering)
- Hold relevant licences to drive or test vehicles and equipment
