Hgv Fitter

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our team. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for Servicing and general maintenance of our fleet of vehicles and trailers working to industry standards. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

**Duties**:

- Carry out vehicle and trailer inspections and MOT preparation
- Work with our in house diagnostic and testing equipment also hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Weld or solder components together as required
- Inspect and carry out repairs as required with quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production processes
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
- Strong knowledge of using diagnostic, tools, and equipment
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

**Skills**:

- Working on HGV's
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
- Ability to drive safely and responsibly
- Strong organisational skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £20,767.05-£50,358.65 per year

- Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
