**Senior Laboratory Technician**

£30,000 Pro Rata

Monday to Friday 07:30am - 16:00pm

**Overview**:
Grafton Recruitment are working with a global leader in the gas industry that have grown through constant advances in the technological field.

**About the role**:
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Laboratory Technician to join the team based in Tunstall. This is a temporary role which is expected to last between 6 to 9 months.

**Duties of a Senior Laboratory Technician**:

- Analysing and certifying specialty gas mixtures in accordance with appropriate analytical test procedures and within customer requirements.
- Accountable for the release of the results accurately and in a timely manner.
- Interacting with stakeholders and assisting with queries from the customers and other interested parties.
- Assisting in the creation and review of SOPs across laboratory processes
- Performing calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of analytical equipment
- Day to day supervision of laboratory technician(s), monitoring and ordering of laboratory consumables. management of analysis planning

**Requirements**:
