**Security Architect**

Are you a Security Architect looking for to make a positive career step and enhance your skills and experience?

**Responsibilities**:

- Implementation of Cyber Security and Architectural Designs
- Working to time deadlines and the ability to follow implementation plans on tactical programme deliverables
- Provide support and input into the delivery plans, including risks and issues
- Understand client requirements for cyber security solutions and translating these into technology-based solutions
- Provide advice to clients on technical and operational security measures designed to help defend against cyber threats
- Lead complex deployments of cyber security portfolio solutions for existing and new clients
- Authorship, ownership, and peer approval of High-Level Design (HLD) documentation
- Development and delivery of processes including: Security Architecture Portfolio Management, System Review, Technical Design Authority, Development of Technical Security Standards
- Engagement with businesses to understand and guide requirements.

**Essential Skills & Experience**:

- Technical knowledge of Industry standards and understanding secure operations, whilst keeping to best practice for IT management and security architecture
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently manage own time and work to deadlines.
- 3+ years of experience as a Cyber security technical architect with proven experience working in commercial, public and/or industrial sectors.

**Desirable Skills & Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Security Architect
- ISO/IEC 2700x series (and 2005 and 2013 issues); OWASP, MODAF and TOGAF.

**Desirable Qualifications**:

- NCSC CCP Cyber Security/IA Architect
- CREST Registered Technical Security Architect
- SABSA Chartered Security Architect
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
- SC cleared - if not, willing to undergo government security clearance process
- Eligible to work in the UK and have the appropriate right to work documents.
