Location: Warrington, ENG, GB, WA1 4RA- Req ID: 83885- Facility: WARRINGTON-6602- Department: Warehousing- Division: Global APS**Basic Function**:
- To ensure all process materials are received, stored, picked and shipped in good condition and records are accurately maintained.
- To maintain the efficient flow of materials through the plant to support production, shipping and customer service/sales.
**Roles & Responsibilities**:
- Perform an array of warehouse duties including, but not limited to:
- Effectively locate products from production to warehouse locations via RF scanner
Effectively locate products and materials and arrange them in preparation for shipping via RF scanner
Operation of counterbalance and Reach FLT in a warehouse using block stacking on floor level and high bay racking.
Operation of FLT in yard areas.
- Operate SAP to check and/or organise deliveries and shipments; and print product labels with correct information
- Safely and efficiently load collection vehicles, checking accuracy of description, batch number and quantity.
- Check the condition and accuracy of incoming deliveries and safely and efficiently unload and locate them, along with site labelling requirements
- Complete all necessary loading and receiving paperwork accurately and pass onto the relevant department or individual.
- Identify, pick, label and locate materials for the production process. Complete the necessary paperwork and return to the shipping office staff.
- Optimise the utilisation of on-site storage facilities to ensure the smooth throughput of stock from production to warehouse to trailer.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in all Warehouse and Site Support areas in accordance with site and company expectations.
- Assist with tanker loading duties
- Driver reception - from arrival on site including checking drivers are wearing correct PPE & adhering fully to site rules, through to exit.
- General duties as required and directed by the warehouse manager
**Education & Work Experience**:
**Education**:
- Good grasp of Maths and English or similar vocational qualification or relevant experience.
- Full FLT licence. Counterbalance essential, REACH desirable.
**Work Experience**:
- Experience in an operational environment, preferably within a chemical/polymers manufacturing or a warehousing/logistics environment preferable.
- Experience with RF scanners and ERP systems an advantage
