**E-Commerce Content/Marketing Assistant - Job Description**

**Role**: Full-time E-commerce Content/Marketing Assistant

**Overview of role**: To produce content across our websites

**Key skillsets**: A passion for writing and full of creative ideas

**Objective**: To improve the quality and depth of content across the sites

Do you have a passion for writing? Do you have an interest in social media? Do you want to work in e-commerce and marketing? If so, then read on

We run several websites and anticipate the successful applicant to be running one of the websites currently in development within two years.

The role will include the following:

- Writing SEO-focussed product copy, blogs and category copy
- Updating the websites with copy and images
- Reviewing, updating and uploading existing copy
- Working with the team to identify ways to increase website traffic
- Helping to create short-form videos
- Helping to find new ways of generating marketing/PR for our brands

The ideal person for this role will be:

- A keen writer
- A strong team player with initiative and a positive attitude
- Buzzing with creative ideas and suggestions
- Be confident working (or learning) different software packages
- Have a strong understanding of written English, including accurate spelling
- Have strong attention to detail
- Be able to work independently and not afraid of working to targets

This job is full-on The role is incredibly fast-paced and you must have a willingness to work, learn, enjoy writing and be savvy with social media.

Ideally, you will have some experience within this field, have a cheerful disposition and have a sleeves rolled up, “can do” attitude. However, if you can prove you have a passion for writing and online marketing and all you need is a break, apply

The role is a full-time position, Monday to Friday. We are happy to consider a part-time role for the right person to fit in with other commitments, such as studying, or childcare.

**Salary**: From £17,000.00 per year dependent upon experience

Work location: Nelson, UK. Home working is not possible for this position
