**Job Title: Production Operator**

**Pay Rate**: up to £15.50 P/H DOE

**Contract**: Permanent

**Shifts**:
Permanent, Full-Time, 39 Hours:
Mon - Thurs: 8:00 - 17:00 (30 mins lunch)

Fri: 8:00 - 13:00 (no lunch)

We are looking for a experienced production Operator to join a Global Client based in Clevedon, Somerset

**Duties**
- Cleaning and preparing mould tools for curing,
- Cutting and laying up materials in mould tools,
- Loading and operating industrial curing ovens / autoclaves / presses,
- Core filling pre and post curing,
- Assembling components using adhesives and mechanical fasteners
- Hand tool finishing of components and assemblies e.g. linishing and countersinking
- Responsible for ensuring that a high standard of housekeeping is maintained,
- To support team members with other tasks / training as and when necessary,
- To help to create and maintain a safe working environment and observe the published Health and Safety Procedures,
- To carry out any other tasks where reasonable and relevant as and when required.

**Experience and Skills**
- Previous experience in the aerospace industry
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment (engineering, boatbuilding, woodworking, mechanical or similar)
- Composite layup / laminating experience
- Demonstrable practical skills
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Competency using hand tools
- Competency using toolroom machinery such as pillar drills and bandsaws
- Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
