I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Import / Export Operator to join a well-established, family run, global liquid logistics company to join their European and Deep Sea Operation.

- Experience within a similar Freight Forwarding or Import / Export role
- Knowledge of Import & Export procedures / processes
- Experience of using freight forwarding systems such as Multi-Freight and Cargo Wise
- Proven experience of rate negotiation with both clients and third parties
- Strong commercials skills and business acumen are necessary
- Results driven with a consistent approach with the ability to inspire and motivate
- Must have a ‘can do’ attitude
- Presentable, polite and demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Competent decision making
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

**Duties and Responsibilities;**
- Completing export customs on Chief/CDS
- Book transport with hauliers and build relationships with set of your won hauliers
- Handle the coordination of ocean freight
- Handle all operational aspects of export file management
- Liaise with third party hauliers for planning any additional capacity
- Produce a range of freight documentation including DGN's and bills of lading
- Raising Chamber of Commerce documents
- Build and maintain a good working relationship with internal and external clients
- Liaise with all relevant parties to ensure that expectations are met during the movement of cargo
