Patient Safety Senior Administrator

To deliver high quality administration and secretarial support to the teams within the Patient Safety & Clinical Effectiveness portfolio, which includes: Patient Safety Resuscitation Clinical Effectiveness Prevention & Management of Violence & Aggression The role will include the administrative coordination and management of specified panels, forums and groups, the administrative coordination and management of identified projects, and diary management of designated senior staff within the Patient Safety & Clinical Effectiveness portfolio. Administration will include the preparation of draft agendas, collating information, distributing paperwork, maintaining action logs and tracking actions, taking and transcribe minutes in a timely manner as required for designated senior staff and forums within the Patient Safety & ClinicalEffectiveness portfolio.Preparation of presentations, reports and briefing papers using a variety of formats, including but not limited to PowerPoint, Word and Excel.Organise and maintain efficient manual and electronic filing systems, including recording, sorting, and archiving documents in accordance with Trust Policy.Ordering of stock and non-stock items, materials, and services as required using the Oracle Procurement system as agreed by the budget holderUndertake training to keep up to date with use of Trust systems including but not limited to the PARIS patient information system, and the Ulysses incident system to support the Patient Safety workstreams.Undertake training to keep up to date with use of technology including MS Teams and Decisions as appropriate, and participation in the development and implementation of new skills and systems, providing personal development and ensuring that all functions are performed to a high standard.Support the development and updating of the internal intranet pages of the portfolio of teams. Organising meetings, internal and external venue and event bookings, photocopying, printing, and note taking for any member of the portfolio of teams as requested.Liaison with clinical and medical teams when organising meetings or events, which may include liaison with patients, families or carers, when arranging interviews for the investigators.Work as an effective administration member of the patient safety and clinical effectiveness team, by taking logical and reasonable steps to resolve issues.
